Lis Bastian loves her garden - a prime example of the delicious range of food anyone can grow at home.

It’s all about having a try and seeing what will grow in your local climate. She also has some generous chooks laying eggs and providing plenty of fertilizer.

Lis describes gardening as a steep learning curve, learning new things about the garden all the time. Her children are also eating more veggies now, because they’ve put in the work and want to reap the rewards.

To get to the Blue Mountains, Jestar flies to Sydney from 14 cities across Australia. From there, it's about a two hour drive to escape the hustle and bustle and just . . .  relax.
